Truly The First Responders
NADCA's certification program is the end-result of seven years of effort by members of the association to increase the level of professionalism and competency within the HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air-conditioning) system cleaning industry. Through certification, contractors can demonstrate to their clients and their colleagues that they have the requisite knowledge and experience to do the job right. Consumers will benefit from the ability to select contractors who have been tested as knowledgeable and proficient in their field.

Professional credentialing sets businesses apart from their competition. As the public gained recognition of the benefits of hiring certified contractors, cleaning specifications now often require that the successful bidder have NADCA certified personnel on staff.

Quality through Knowledge is the theme for NADCA's certification program. By testing and verifying that contractors are knowledgeable and proficient in their field, the public gains quality assurance. Our goal is to ensure that the work performed by a NADCA certified Air Systems Cleaning Specialist meets or exceeds customer expectations and industry standards.

FIT TRAINED/TESTED/CERTIFIED

OSHA requires that fit testing and respirator training be conducted annually for all persons required to use respiratory protection. Persons who use respirators also must be medically cleared. OSHA requires that full-face respirators be fit tested quantitatively if they are to be used to their full assigned protection factor.
